Three things we have
never let slip.
Made to a written standard
Our formulations follow the Drugs and Cosmetics Act and Bureau of Indian Standards specifications. Liquophin carries the ISI mark under I.S. 1061:1997. The recipe does not change quietly between batches.
Tested before it leaves
Every batch is checked in our own laboratory for effectiveness, chemical reaction, skin friendliness, staining and side effects. A product that fails on any one of those does not get dispatched.
Supplied without gaps
We manufacture at our own plant in Nagpur and move goods through a dealer network we have supplied for decades. Institutions cannot run on a supplier who goes quiet, so we do not.
Every surface in the building,
from one supplier.
Floors, marble, toilets, wash basins, urinals and drains. Household packs through to institutional volumes, so a hospital and a housewife can both buy the product that suits them.

04 Every fragrance, every size
Rajanigandha is made in five fragrances, and each one is filled in three sizes. A retailer stocks the 500 ml, a housekeeping store buys the 5 litre, and it is the same formulation in both.

Fifty years of the same
work, done properly.
Established in 1975, BDN Pharmaceuticals is counted among the more trusted processors and suppliers of disinfectants and antiseptic fluids, toilet acids and toilet cleaners, coloured and perfumed phenyles, perfumed and disinfectant floor cleaners, and white and black phenyle.
Our products are formulated in compliance with set international standards, and our technicians work with current machinery to keep the processing consistent from one batch to the next. Demand for them across the domestic market rests on three things people keep coming back for: they are non toxic, they work, and they behave the same way every time.
To deliver that reliably, we run a sound manufacturing setup at our own premises in Nagpur, divided into departments so each stage of the process is carried out in order rather than all at once. Our patrons can pay by cash, cheque or demand draft, and can ask us for customised packaging and a user manual when their team needs one.
The company has grown under the guidance of Mr. Anand and Mr. Satish Didolkar, whose knowledge of this field has shaped both what we make and the way we sell it. Our products reach Maharashtra and the states around it through an established dealer network, and increasingly the rest of India through the same route.
A rate contract we have held for twenty years.
The Director of Medical Education and Research, Government of Maharashtra, awarded BDN a rate contract for the supply of Black Disinfectant Fluid to all hospitals and institutions under the state government. We have supplied under it continuously ever since.

Nothing ships until
it passes all five.
We formulate with superior grade raw material and process it with the equipment the job actually needs. After production, every batch goes to our own laboratory and is tested against the standards laid down under the Drugs and Cosmetics Act and the Bureau of Indian Standards specification. Our inspectors check five things in particular.
- Side effects. Nothing that harms the person using it every day.
- Chemical reaction. Predictable behaviour in water and on the surface it meets.
- Effectiveness. It has to do the job at the dilution printed on the label.
- Skin friendliness. Housekeeping staff handle this for hours at a stretch.
- Stains. No marks left behind on marble, tile or fittings.
Four complaints we hear
in almost every first meeting.
"The last supplier was fine, then one batch came weak and my staff blamed the mopping."
Our formulation is fixed and our plant is ISO 9001:2008 certified, so the capful behaves the same in March as it did in January. The dose is the promise.
"They deliver when they feel like it. I cannot run a hotel waiting for floor cleaner."
We have supplied the same dealers for decades without a break, from our own plant in Nagpur, and government hospitals for twenty years under rate contract. Nobody stays that long with a supplier who goes quiet.
"I buy floors from one company, toilets from another, dishwash from a third."
Our range covers the whole building, floors to drains, in sizes from household packs up to institutional volumes. One order, one invoice, one number to call.
"We switched to a cheaper phenyle and ended up using twice as much of it."
Concentrate strength is where the real cost hides. Ours dilutes at 1:100, so compare cost per bucket, not cost per litre. Ask us for the working out and we will send it.
Supplying across India,
out of the middle of it.
Our plant sits in Nagpur, which happens to be the geographic centre of the country. Every direction is a short haul from here. We grew the way a supply business should grow, one dealer at a time, each one carrying the full range rather than a sample of it, and that is how we are covering the rest of the country now.
- Direct from the plant in Nagpur, at the centre of the country
- An established dealer network, each carrying the full range
- Government hospitals and institutions, under rate contract
- Dealers across the rest of India, territory by territory
The things people ask
before they order.
What is the minimum order?
Can I get samples before I commit?
How do I know what to dilute it to?
Do you supply to government hospitals?
Do you do private labelling?
What margin does a dealer make?
How long does delivery take?
Tell us what you
need to clean.
Whether you want a territory or a quarterly supply for one building, this is the same form. Fill it in and a person from Nagpur will reply, not an autoresponder.
